RIP Cigar.

In 1995, Cigar was the ultimate horse, going undefeated that season. His Breeder’s Cup Race still sends chills down my spine and is one of my favorite Tom Durkin race calls. RIP Cigar you were definitely the champions champion.

Three New York Trainers and One Jockey suspended by stewards this week.

According to the Daily Racing Form and the New York Gaming Commission website,three  trainers: Doug O’Neil,  Bruce Levine and Brad Cox were suspended for drug violations.
